ERIC
SVALGARD- Music Director, Keyboards
Educated at Berklee College of Music, for the past 6 years he has been the
keyboard player for Project/Object a nationally touring
Frank Zappa tribute band counting former Mothers sidemen Ike Willis and
Napoleon Murphy Brock. He has been working with Paul Green since 2002, and
was Paul's assistant in preparing the ALL-STARS for their performance of
Zappa's music at Zappanale in 2003. He was the Music Director at the second
School of Rock at Downingtown from 2004-2006.

CHRIS
GORDON- Guitar

Guitarist Chris Gordon has been teaching, recording and performing for the
past twenty years throughout the country in various musical situations.
His intense guitar style has landed him gigs with Producer/Composer
Michael Rapp who utilized Chris’ extreme guitar heroics on the Rock Opera
Rasputin with vocal sensation Ted Neely. Chris has also recorded with
Trumpet Legend Arturo Sandavol and has performed with everyone from Joe
Stump to David Bromberg. Chris has toured with various acts including Nashville’s
Michael Mason and his own groups such as the progressive metal act Xfusion
and Victims of Symmetry.
Currently Chris is recording his solo album “Abigail’s Crossing”

MAX
SVALGARD- Bass/Guitar
Max was one of the original School of Rock
All-Stars. He started as a bass player and switched to guitar 3 years ago.
He also plays drums. Since he graduated he has been teaching here and has

Dan
Klim- Guitar
Dan was one of
Eric’s first students at the Downingtown School of Rock, the first
franchise operation and the second School of Rock. He went on to play with
the All-Stars. He is currently playing with the band

DAN CUTHBURTSON-
Drums

MATT
ROTHSTEIN- Bass/Guitar
Matt has
been playing bass for 9 years, and has been teaching at School of Rock for
3 years. He graduated from Drexel University in 2008 with a Bachelors of
Science in Music Industry. Matt is currently playing with his band Cheers Elephant, who released a
debut album in 2008 and Philadelphia Weekly said “… the quartet effortlessly glides between genres and
rhythms. Modern psych-folk drums and reverb slide easily into an
Afro-Calypso melody that would bring tears to Paul Simon's eyes.” Currently
Cheers Elephant is writing and recording material for their new album
which is to be released Fall 2009.

RYAN BERG-
Drums
Ryan has
been teaching at School of Rock for over 5 years. He is currently working
with the band

NERO CATALANIO-Guitar, Keys,
Bass
Nero is a former School of Rock Music
Director of both Philadelphia and Downingtown. He and Eric were hired by
Paul within months of each other. He is a also a competent drummer.

EMMA SKILLMAN- Vocals
Emma has been singing for eighteen
years. She has been involved in the MENC All State Honors Chorus, ACDA All
Easter Honors Chorus, Folk Duo with her father called “Daddy’s Girl,” and
sings as a stand in with various local bands in the Delaware/Maryland
area.

CHRIS THORNTON- Guitar
Chris
has been playing guitar for 7 years, has been a student at the School of
Rock for 5 years, and has been teaching for 2 years. The bands he has been involved in
include- Enos Emurf-2002-Present,
Stevadelic 2004-2008, When Cars Ascend, 2005-2009, Zasz 2008, American
Europe: The Final Rockdown 2008-Present, Krang & The Technodromes
2008-Present.
