DE TEAM
Each Rock School has a street team/house band, a group made up of some
the most talented and hard working kids in the school. This band plays
local and regional shows to benefit worthy causes or can be hired out
to play at other events. The musical material performed is taken from
our curriculum of classic rock featuring covers of bands like Led
Zeppelin, The Who, Yes, The Cars, Steely Dan, Metallica and others. We
can tailor our set to suit the event and can even do requests (please
give us 5 weeks notice on specific songs).
DE Team has previously performed at the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival,
The Riverfront Blues Fest, Newark Community Day, Mayfair at Bellevue
State Park, WMGK Rock Art Show in Philadelphia, Wilmington Gran Prix
Bicycle Race, Frawley Stadium, Benefits for The Ronald MacDonald House,
The Blue Parrot, JB McGuiness and many other venues and events.
We are a troupe of 16 teenagers and 2 adult supervisors. At any time
4-6 performers are on stage. We provide our own musical equipment and
require a professional PA system for vocals and keyboards. Our own PA
is available on request at additional cost. A song list is available upon request. |
