Ever wonder why women (or girls) wear tops that don't reach down to the waist of their pants. and then spend all their time pulling the pants up and the tops down to attempt to cover their exposed midsections? HUH? - updated 10/30/07 * * * * * * WE ARE SAD TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE CANNOT COUNT ON THE COLLUSEUM BEING RE-OPENED IN TIME FOR OUR SHOW. WE ARE THEREFOR MOVING THE SHOW TO THE FIGURE 8 BARN AT BELLEVUE STATE PARK. THANKS TO THE FOLKS AT THE PARK FOR WORKING WITH US ON THIS AND WE HOPE THAT COLLOSEUM RE-OPENS SOON. - updated 5/6/07 * * * * * * I have been kind of letting this page go. Not good. Here is what is new. We are now working on two shows in Wilmington, Southern Rock on Saturdays and AC/DC on Tuesdays. The school is now up to fifty kids. I have also been running a Zappa show in Downingtown on Thursdays. The Friday night jam nights contiunue the last friday of each month at Cafe Caribe, across the street from the school. DE Team is working on new material with some new members. We will be doing a lot of gigs in May and June. New kids, new music, new teachers, all is good. Thanks Wilmington, for your support. - updated 2/24/07 * * * * * * RANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ever wonder why when you input your account number on the phone when you are trying to access your phone or credit and then the "customer service associate" asks you for the number you just input?
Ever wonder why when you use your ATM card at the grocery store and the machine asks you what kind if card you are using and if you want cash back, why the cashier asks you the same questions?
- updated 10/25/06 * * * * * * We have been open three weeks now and have started reheasals for the Wall. We are now open four days a week. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30 to 8 and Saturday from 11AM to 4 PM. I hope to announce the dates for THE WALL show by the end of this month. ERIC - updated 7/21/06 * * * * * * The Paul Green School of Rock Music-Wilmington will formally open its doors on July 5th. Our hours will be Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We will begin teaching private lessons that week. Our first show will be Pink Floyd’s THE WALL and we will begin rehearsals as soon as we reach 20 students, which we estimate to be mid-July with a September show.
We are offering an introductory tuition rate of $180 per month for the first 60 students. This includes a 45 minute weekly private lesson on your instrument as well the 3 hour weekly show rehearsal. Please understand that although the rehearsal may seem long, your child will not be performing during the entire rehearsal. Our shows are cast so that each child gets an equal amount of stage time and therefore your child may or may not rehearse all of his or her songs at each rehearsal. We always try to make the rehearsals as fair as possible, giving equal time to each performer. In addition, the school is always available for students to come and use the facilities and equipment (provided it is not in use by someone else) during our open hours.
We hope you're as excited as we are Wilmington! - updated 5/29/06 * * * * * * We will be holding interview/auditions at the school on June 21st ,22nd, 24th,28th 29th and July 1st between the hours of 3:30 and 8:00 PM.
